Good afternoon everyone. I have created a Facebook page for the Clinton Block Dances so please visit it for up to the minute updates on this summers schedule. I also invite you to add any pics from past block dances or share your memories of these summer staples. Requests can also be posted there as well. Have some fun with it.
Summer of 2012 kicks off on Thursday, July 12th @ 6pm (weather-permitting).

Alright. Gotta ask. What's a block dance?

During the summer break, usually every year, Clinton shuts off a portion of the park and allows the kids and families to dance on the street to DJ Pat McIntyre. It's fun for the whole family, and kids can dance for hours with friends they meet up with. They have a food truck and police keeping things peaceful.
